The possibilities are endless:
“After a long beta period, Boston-based MobileSphere launched a ’straight-to-voicemail’ service yesterday called Slydial. If you call 267-SLY-DIAL and listen to a short ad, you can then be connected to the voicemail inbox of any US mobile phone subscriber, without causing their phone to ring. Sounds kinda useful — but incredibly, MobileSphere is pitching the service as a way to avoid actually communicating with all those difficult, boring people in your life. In reply to suggestions that Slydial erodes and cheapens genuine human interaction, a MobileSphere exec says the company is just combating technology with technology, by helping people take control of whether and when to talk with their friends, family, and coworkers.”

totally gonna use this!!!:D:D:D
Ha ha ha the other way round is not picking up!!
This is so cool…
I’d rather use the other way around and act totally busy and make people wonder what I am busy with….
I work for a doctors office and there are some patients that you just dont even want to talk to because they can be soooo nasty! This works out great, I can call and leave a message and not worry about them actually answering the phone!! I will definatly use this!
I just used it to call my own cell phone to see how it works. I called from my landline.
The call went directly to the voicemail on my cell phone but as soon as the message was left, my cell phone started beeping to let me know I had a voicemail.
It works. . . . but if someone used it in the middle of the night, the beep that signals I have a voice message would still wake me up . . . so it’s not quite as sly as it could be. I wish it didn’t make the cell phone beep, announcing the voice message.
