As a feminist, I find these generalizations based on premises such as "If women ran the world..." ridiculous. Not only do they rely on stereotypes created in a patriarchal system, but they aim for and project a reality for which the majority of feminists have not fought for. (You pointed that out in your post. :) )

And WHY the hell is the article in the Life&Style section and not the Politics section!?! Yet another thing that pisses me off.

And kudos to the Spanish PM, because he kicks ass. If only Bush were as progressive as him...*sigh* Perhaps Barack Obama will do the whole "female cabinet" thing

[...] Browsekid wrote an interesting post today on Playboy PM?Here’s a quick excerptHave you ever thought about what would happen with an immediate recall of the troops from these countries, the most vulnerable population WILL BE women and children o f Iraq and Afghanistan….Maybe 5 years ago, it would have been a good idea, and that too just for Iraq, not for Afghanistan….We’d stop meddling in other people’s affairs overseas, recall troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, and declare ourselves a nuclear-free peace zone….
