Beliefs, faith, hope, persona - the way you define them is how you know them with respect to yourself. It does not matter, what people, who do not matter think. Life is still beautiful, positive and spiritual.

I would argue that extends to people who do matter also. As long as you know you’re in the proverbial right, sometimes even though your near and dear ones may be opposed to it, you still have to say/do the right thing.
